OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2010. Representatives of business and authoritative circles from twin-city of Donghae visited Nakhodka. Questions of expansion of trade and economic cooperation between both cities were discussed in the course of their visit. Foreign delegation was welcomed by the Head of Nakhodka city district at the City Hall.

Questions of economic cooperation between Nakhodka and Donghae became the main theme for discussion in the course of the visit of South Korean delegation headed by the chairman of Donghae’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. KIM Yoon Jae. At the City Hall, foreign guests were welcomed by the Head of Nakhodka city district Oleg KOLYADIN, his deputies Boris GLADKIH and Oleg SERGANOV, the chairman of the city duma Mikhail PILIPENKO and aide to the Head of the city on international relations Irina SCHERBINA.

Oleg KOLYADIN and KIM Yoon Jae exchanged information about implementation of new projects on the territories of both cities. In Nakhodka such projects include the specialized oil-loading sea port in Kozmino Bay, Helium station for exporting gas to Asian-Pacific countries, the construction of concrete structures of oil and gas production platforms (for Arkutun-Dagi field) under the project "Sakhalin - 1" at the "dry dock" in Vrangel and projection of Primorsky oil-processing plant.

Both sides pin their hopes on the development of tourism between their cities. At the meeting they undertook to actively participate in the development of bilateral tour programs and create special tour packages.
