OREANDA-NEWS. November 15, 2010. Ingosstrakh paid 1.4 mln rubles to one of the Saratov region agricultural producers, located in Balashovsky district, for the damage caused by draught and frost to winter wheat crops.

The winter wheat crops on the area of 411 ha were insured against loss or partial damage for the total of 3.8 mln rubles.

The insured event was the scope of factors – air drought and soil draught, also the ice crust due to frost, which led to the crop loss on the area of 411 ha. As a result of several expert appraisals conducted to assess the damage, the event was recognized as an insured event and Ingosstrakh paid an indemnity to the agricultural enterprise.

The insured crops were pledged to the Saratov regional branch of Rosselkhozbank to secure a loan.
