OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2010. Scientific-practical conference devoted to topical problems of the application of innovative technologies in the chemical, oil and gas industry was held by a special correspondence department of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology at Kungrad Soda Plant.

The event was attended by leaders of several higher education institutions, professors and teachers at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, students, technicians and engineers of Kungrad Soda Plant.

Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis Ismail Saifnazarov, chairman of the committee of Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan Bahamdulla Nurabullayev and others noted that the rapid development of modern technologies, carried out in Uzbekistan, worked to further improve the competitiveness of the economy, scientific research in accordance with specific needs and demands of society, enterprise modernization and introduction of advanced technologies had produced notable results.

It created opportunities in this area for students and young scientists, which in turn stimulated the young men and women to the development of scientific knowledge, effective and innovative ideas.

Master of special correspondence department of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology at Kungrad soda plant Svetlana Ospanova developed a core component for the manufacture of detergents on the basis of domestic raw materials.

“In my work I used soda ash and sodium bicarbonate produced at Kungrad soda plant,” said S. Ospanova. “This mix plays an important role in the production of modern detergents.”

This innovative idea has been successfully tested and is now being introduced into production. A joint venture organized at the factory, is scheduled to start manufacturing new products next year.
