OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2010. OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation Central Office (Krasnoyarsk) paid RUR 589.3 ths reinsurance recovery to CJSC "Ak Bars Insurance" (Republic of Tatarstan). The payment was made in connection with the death of insured person. Risk was taken under facultative treaty.

Under the package mortgage insurance treaty there were insured life and health of loan debtor, who took out a loan. 25 April 2010 by the reason of casual handling with naked flame there was an explosion of gas cap of insured. The result is that insured suffered 80% burns of body’s surface and soon died.

The total amount of payments under the treaty amounted to RUR 1,089 mln. As a beneficiary was commercial bank, which provided a loan. After receiving the full package of documents under this insured accident OJSC Transsiberian Re Central Office paid its share in the amount of 589 333,44 rubles.
