OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2010. JSC "KazTransOil" has increased the volumes of oil transportation by 4%.

According to the factual data the volume of oil transportation through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in January – September 2010 was equal to 39 million 023 thou. tons. Comparing to the same period of 2009 the volume of oil transportation increased by 1 million 343 thou. tons, or by 4% (fact for 9 months of 2009 was equal to 37 million 680 thou. tons).

The cargo turnover through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in 9 months of 2010 was equal to 25 billion 568 million tons per km. Relatively to the same period of the last year the given indicator increased by 558 million tons per km or by 2%.

According to the results of reporting period of the present year volume of oil throughput via section of "Atasu-Alashankou" reached the level of 7 million 549 thou. tons of oil, which exceeds the indicator of the same period of 2009 by 2 million 025 thou. tons, or 37% (fact for 9 months of 2009 was equal to 5 million 524 thou. tons).

Transit of Russian oil via the section of "TON-2", located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was equal to 4 million 101 thou. tons of oil, the increase, in comparison with January-September of 2009, equals to 207 thou. tons or 5% according to results of the reporting period of 2010 (fact for 9 months of 2009 was equal to 3 million 894 thou. tons of oil).

In comparison with the last year, the volume of oil transportation through the network of main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan has increased. According to the results of 9 months of 2010 the volume of oil transportation to refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan was equal to 9 million 659 thou. tons, which is 1 million 741 thou. tons or 22% higher than in the same period of 2009 (the fact for the 9 months of 2009 was equal to 7 million 918 thou. tons of oil).

JSC "KazTransOil" carries out supply of Volga water to consumers of Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts of Kazakhstan via Astrahan-Mangyshklak waterline. In January-September of the current year, the volume of water supply was equal to 16 million 587 thou. cubic meters, and in comparison with the same period of 2009, the volume increased by 2 million 060 thou. cubic meters or by 14%.
