OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2010. Transaero Airlines announces its operational results for the first 9 months of 2010 which once again demonstrate stable development of the carrier.

For the period from January to September 2010:

Passenger turnover reached 19.25 billion RPK, 40.7 % higher than in the first 9 months of 2009

The total number of passengers carried amounted to 5,066,151, which is 32.7% more than in the same period in the previous year

Transaero transported a total of 27,480 tons of cargo, 43.3% more than in the first 9 months of 2009

Ton-kilometers totaled 1,893,527.45 TKM, 41% more than in the same period previous year.

In January – September 2010 Transaero passenger turnover grew both on the domestic routes (by 24%) and on international routes by (35.1%).
