Sviaz-Bank Rolls Out New Service in Megapay Internet Banking System
OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2010. Sviaz-Bank has launched a new service in the Megapay Internet Banking System that enables the Bank’s customers to transfer funds between open current accounts, including adding funds to individual time deposits, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.
The new option allows the following banking transactions to be effected on computers:
transfer from one current account/demand account to another current account/demand account;
transfer from a current account/demand account to a time deposit account (under an effective agreement);
transfer from a card account to a deposit account (under an effective agreement); and
withdrawal of a portion of funds from a deposit account to a card account/current account/demand account (under an effective agreement).
These transactions are available by accessing the System and clicking on the section “Account to Account Transfer” or “Transfer from Account/Card to Account/Card” if a transaction is done by the Bank’s plastic card.
The Megapay Internet Banking System allows retail customers to perform banking transactions in the protected mode around the clock seven days a week through the Internet. Customers are connected to the system free of charge. The Megapay Internet Banking system is based on an all-purpose remote banking system, RBS BS-Client. Private Client, from the Bank Soft Systems Company.
The Bank Soft Systems Company develops systems for providing remote banking services and managing finances and electronic banking since 1994. The company’s more than 1,300 customers include over a half of Russia’s biggest banks. BSS was the first company specializing in RBS to have its quality management system certified for compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 international quality standard. The product line from Bank’s Soft Systems allows lending institutions to provide remote services through all existing channels to all respondent types – individuals and legal entities, units (divisions, branches, and exchange offices), bank correspondents, and so on.
