Starting from 1st November 2010 the subscribers of the Avangard service – residents of all region s of the Northwestern Federal District – can use a new Internet video service: the Soviet television portal, CCCP TV ( www.cccp.tv ), of the company URAVO, which offers for viewing licensed TV programmes of the Soviet times.

The CCCP TV Soviet television portal is available to the subscribers of the Avangard limitless rate plans and the subscribers of the Avangard Vremya (Avangard Time) rate plan (with time included).

Access to the CCCP TV Soviet television portal for the subscribers of Avangard is provided at the speed of the local resources, i.e. the maximum possible speed, which depends on the parameters of the subscriber’s line. All videos are ready for viewing without downloading (on-line) and do not require registration at the portal.

With the CCCP TV portal, subscribers of the Avangard service have been given an opportunity to watch free of charge and at any convenient time famous programmes of the Soviet times (Vokrug Smekha – Around Laughter, Goluboy Ogonyok – Blue Light, Kabachok 13 Stulyev – 13 Chairs Pub, Vremya – Time, Klub Kinoputeshestviy – Film Travel Club, Mezhdunarodnaya Panorama – International Panorama), to read news presented in the Soviet-type style of Informbureau and to take part in interactive polls and voting.
