OREANDA-NEWS. November 8, 2010. UVK has successfully completed a joint international project with Blue Water Shipping Group, Denmark (bws.dk) concerning organization of delivery of books published by New Era, Denmark (newerapublications.com) to municipal libraries in Ukraine.

What made this project special is that the partners had to organize door-to-door delivery of a small consignment of goods (books) from Denmark to a large number of recipients (libraries) in various regions of Ukraine (oblast and raion administrative centers, small towns and villages). Blue Water Shipping representatives had to be very thorough in selecting a partner company in Ukraine, which could handle international shipping, customs clearance, warehouse repacking, telemarketing, and delivery of small consignments throughout Ukraine.

In cases like this, one often has to make deliveries using several companies, which translates into additional expenses. To implement the project, UVK offered to take advantage of its comprehensive operating capacities: forwarding services, customs brokerage services, warehouse logistics system, sophisticated regional network, and of course, its customer-oriented approach.

Individualized conditions offered to Blue Water Shipping helped not only minimize expenses but to successfully complete the project during 2 months.

Now, UVK and Blue Water Shipping plan further development of partnership relations.
