OREANDA-NEWS. November 8, 2010. In October, the Ukrainian pipe making industry has demonstrated a 9.6% mom decline rate. The underperformers were Hartzysk Pipe, Luhansk Pipe, and Interpipe’s Niko-Tube with 25.0%, 13.6%, and 36% mom drop in output.

Unexpectedly, this month Harzysk Pipe has demonstrated 25.0% mom decline in output, after a consecutive double-digit growth in the previous three months. Despite the negative effect of the October temporary downturn, HRTR should display further growth to catch up with recent contracts with Russian Transneft. Interpipe plants on the average maintained the previous month’s production levels.
