OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2010. Aggregate capital of commercial banks of Uzbekistan for nine months of 2010 exceeded 3.56 trillion soums, growing 1.4 times versus the same period of 2009.

It was a result of measures taken on further increase of banks' capitalization and resource base strengthening.

As of 1 October 2010 aggregate assets of Uzbek banks comprised over 20.1 trillion soums, adding 31% from the same period of the last year.
