OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2010. SOLLERS presented new FIAT Professional (FIAT’s commercial vehicle division) models at the Moscow International Automobile Salon MIAS-2010. These are a new version of the four-wheel drive FIAT Ducato 4x4, and a new modification of the FIAT Ducato Combi with partly windowed body. The FIAT Professional exhibition is located in Hall 14, Pavilion 3 at the combined SOLLERS booth.

The production four-wheel drive FIAT Ducato 4x4 is a new FIAT Professional innovation. By the end of 2010, it will be on sale in the nationwide dealer network of over 100 showrooms and service stations in all Russian regions, including the Far East and North Caucasus.

The FIAT Ducato four-wheel drive system was developed at request of SOLLERS by the world-renowned French company Dangel. Three four-wheel drive options will be offered to customers depending on their needs:

• A base system with part-time four-wheel drive – option price 239 000 rubles;

• A system supplemented with locking rear differential – 264 000 rubles;

• A system with locking rear differential supplemented with downshifting – 349 000 rubles.

Any of the systems can be installed on any FIAT Ducato version, regardless of wheelbase length and body type. The four-wheel drive system and differential locking are electronically controlled by switches on the front panel. Downshifting is enabled by a lever. The main advantages of the FIAT Ducato 4?4 are a significant increase in road clearance (depending on body type: 18–21 cm front axle clearance and 26–27.7 cm rear axle clearance), confident off-road abilities and additional handling reliability on bad roads. Retail prices for the four-wheel drive FIAT Ducato 4x4 are the lowest among foreign rivals on the Russian market.

FIAT Ducato Combi

A new modification of the FIAT Ducato Combi is one of the most popular modifications of this commercial vehicle among individual customers and ideally suited for different kinds of companies with mobile fast service or equipment repair teams.

The new Ducato Combi body has partial windowing. The passenger compartment has large windows, and the cargo space is all metal, which allows full loading and protects the cargo during stays. A solid bulkhead separates the cargo and passenger compartments.

In the passenger compartment, up to 4 seats with varying levels comfort can be installed, as well as any extra equipment — a snack table, audio- or video system, luggage shelves, etc. The retail price of the new FIAT Ducato Combi starts at 839 00 rubles, the best offer in its class.
