OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2010. Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company has settled a number of large insured events related to corporate property insurance. Total indemnity amounted to 118,000. Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. has paid out UAH 70,563 in connection to an insured event that occurred on the motorway Zaporizhya-Mariupol. The vehicle that was transporting paints, varnishes and lacquers, drove into a ditch and the cargo got damaged. All risks were covered by the insurance agreement. At Boryspil Airport, after the collision of a Caterpillar mobile excavator insured with Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. with another excavator, the insured machinery got damages of the right side of the engine room. The insurance agreement covered the following risks: fire, stroke of lightning, explosion, fall down of aircrafts and their parts, windstorm, hail, flood, earthquake, land subsidence, landslide, earth fall, robbery/stealing openly, intentional destruction or damage of insured machinery, vandalism, accident. The indemnity amounted to UAH 39,646. Another loss event occurred in Kyiv, at an office insured with Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company. As a result of the sewerage outbreak, the interior furnishing of the office was damaged. The indemnity amounted to UAH 8,328. The insurance agreement covered the following risks: fire, stroke of lightning, explosion, fall down of aircrafts and their parts, windstorm, hail, flood, earthquake, land subsidence, landslide, earth fall, damage by water from water, heat supply, sewerage and similar systems, intentional destruction or damage of insured property, vandalism, run of vehicles, glass breakage.
