OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2010. Extended Board session of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan dedicated to the discussion of the results of banking activity for nine months of 2010 noted that the banks of the country are actively rendering financial support of enterprises of real sector of economy.

Thus, as of 1 October 2010 the volume of aggregate credit investments of Uzbek banks to basic sectors of economy exceeded 11.36 trillion soums.

At that the share of credits issued for commercial purposes amounted to 74% in the total credit portfolio of Uzbek banks.
