PM of Ukraine Puts into Operation "Left Bank" Transport Hub
OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2010. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov takes part in the opening of the transport unit "Left Bank" in Kyiv.
Mykola Azarov congratulated Kiev with this event and presented the best builders diplomas of the Cabinet.

New stopping point "Left Bank" as part of railway approaches to the rail-road bridge across the Dnieper. The complex points - passenger platforms, staircases, lift shafts, and footbridge over the road passing left-bank approach. Under the roadway on the Bereznyakovskaya street a road overpass is previewed.
At the same time, the building and reconstruction of Zdolbunivska street is completed, now it is a full four way route. A new highway has connected the Kharkiv highway and Dnipro embankment, allowing 15% unload for Kharkiv highway. It will speed up by 20 minutes the way from Dnieper embankment to Kharkov highway, bypassing the Voz’ednannya avenue, the Leningrad square and the overpass at Kharkiv highway. In fact Zdolbunivska street duplicates the Voz’ednannya avenue.
Also Sortuvalna street is reconstructed, what will allow direct passage from Zdolbunivska street and transportation of passengers by public transport to the railway station "Left Bank" and to provide vehicular traffic to vehicle-railroad bridge after opening traffic on it.
Thus, the capital received a new transport hub, combining rail routes with road flows Bereznyaky, Rusanivka, Poznyaky and Kharkiv arrays. Within this hub CE Kyivpastrans by increasing the number of passenger transport will provide bus and taxi routes with an interval of 6 - 12 min. For the convenience of passengers near the railway platform "Left Bank" the additional public transport is provided.
