OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2010. At the extraordinary meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) it was decided to approve the contract for loan, stipulating financing of works at the expense of offering entity, after what the municipal authorities will return the amount spent for repair of roads.

The loan with annual interest rate of 4,2% will be provided in tranches at the request of the Chisinau Mayoralty. The first tranche, aimed for reconstruction of roads, will account for near 29,618 million lei and will be allocated in 2010, and in 2011 two more tranches of 66,439 million lei each will be carried out.

At the same time, according to Director Mayoralty Main Financial Department Veronica Herta, the term for return of the first two tranches is 1 year, and of the third – 2 years. It is planned to overhaul completely Stefan cel Mare bd., Grigore Vieru bd. and Vadul-lui-Voda str. Besides, the list comprises Alba Iulia str. where the works have already been finished.

The sections of the following roads will be repaired partially: Muncesti sos. from Decebal str. to Gradina Botanica str., Ismail str. at the intersection of Varnita str. and Calea Mosilor str., Dacia bd. (Valea Crucii-Airport), Burebista str. (Muncesti sos.-Sarmizegetusa), Tudor Strisca str. (Ungureanu-Independentei), Vasile Lupu str. (E.Coca-Vasile Lupu).

These 10 streets are included in the list, provided by the Chisinau Mayoralty, comprising 36 streets subject to reconstruction. It should be noted that Genesis International SRL is the company with foreign capital. It got the right to execute reconstruction of 10 Chisinau streets as a result of international tender, announced by the municipal authorities.
