Turkmen Exchange Concluded 21 Transactions
OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2010. 21 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Businessmen from the United States, the UAE, Iran, Afghanistan, Panama and the Virgin Islands bought diesel fuel, aviation kerosene and base oil produced at Turkmenbashi oil refineries for the foreign currency. Buyers from Afghanistan concluded the contracts for stove gasoline produced at Seydi oil refinery. The transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for grey and terry cloth, cotton yarn, knitted fabric and a variety of textile products. The buyer countries: the United States, Russia, Gibraltar, Armenia. The transactions concluded in the foreign currency totalled over USD 67.75 million.
Businessmen from the United States concluded the transactions in deposit manats for cattle skin and grey cloth, from the UAE – cotton wool, from Kyrgyzstan - a variety of textile products. The transactions in deposit manats were concluded to the sum of over 2.3 million manats.
