OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2010.  “Interregional Distribution Grid Companies Holding, Open Joint Stock Company (IDGC Holding) and Enel SpA (Enel) have signed the Mutual Understanding Memorandum. General Director of IDGC Holding Nikolay Shvets and Managing Director of International Division of Enel Carlo Tamburi have signed the document.

The parties have agreed to carry out joint projects in the sphere of development and implementation of innovative technologies of Smart Grid in Russia, including in the field of power consumption control systems (AMM) on the basis of modern intellectual power consumption metering devices (Smart Metering) in the distribution electric grid complex.

The partners consider various variants of cooperation in the sphere of electric grid asset management, including possibility of establishment of a joint venture. Besides, IDGC Holding and Enel are going to exchange their best experience in the field of development and improvement of a uniform technical policy, unification and implementation of quality management standards.
