Prime Minister Karim Massimov instructed the Ministry of Communication and Information and Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan to study the issue of extending the test run of 4G mobile technologies by the end of January 2011, the correspondent of the “Interfax-Kazakhstan” agency informed.

“It is possible to extend this pilot project to the period of the OSCE and the Asian Games, until the end of January 2011. And it should be implemented in those places where these activities will take place in Astana and Almaty,” he said at the presentation of the pilot project of 4G mobile communication based on LTE technology on Tuesday in Astana.
