OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2010. In JSC “Afrikantov OKBM” (a branch of Rosatom State Corporation) there was an interbranch scientific and technical conference called “Naval Nuclear Power – 30 years of operation of the power reactor facility of the nuclear submarine of the III generation and surface ships of the Navy”

The conference was organized by Rosatom State Corporation, the RF Navy and JSC “Afrikantov OKBM”. Heads and specialists of more than 50 enterprises of Rosatom State Corporation, the Navy, design institutes and shipbuilding enterprises took part in the conference.

The conference was dedicated to analysis of experience of last generation naval power reactor facilities construction and operation, discussion of actual tasks of the government’s defense order fulfillment, construction, operation, repair, modernization and utilization of naval power reactor facilities, implementation of the naval power reactor facilities updating program, modern technologies of design, construction and trial of facilities of the new generation.
