Information published by the Kommersant newspaper in the article titled “Norilsk Nickel was the subject of conversation” related to the consultations allegedly started between Mr. Oleg Deripaska and Mr. Vladimir Potanin about a possible sale of RUSAL’s stake in MMC Norilsk Nickel, is misleading and incorrect. That had been confirmed to the editorial team of the newspaper upon their request.

Mr. Oleg Deripaska and Mr. Vladimir Potanin have not discussed the question concerning the possible sale of RUSAL’s stake in MMC.

RUSAL has no intention of selling its shareholding in Norilsk Nickel. As such, any speculation on this subject is baseless.
