OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2010. Work has begun at KMAruda Works to install an ASTM telemechanics system for the Gubkin mine power supply system. The new telemechanics will allow a dispatcher to track the condition of the mine's entire power supply system on a computer monitor, which will make it possible to boost control effectiveness and reduce the time required to eliminate problems.

As of today, around eight kilometers of fiber-optic cable has been laid to the central substations.
