OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2010. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov called the statements of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko that the Government trivializes the hryvnia totally unwarranted and likely to create panic mood in the society. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that in Vinnitsa at the meeting to address issues of socio-economic development of Vinnitsa region.

"The statements of Ms. Tymoshenko on devaluation of national currency is totally unfounded and create panic mood in society" – the Prime Minister stressed.

Moreover, Mykola Azarov denied opposition statements that the government uses the emission of the National Bank funds to finance current budget expenditure. He stressed that it is directly prohibited by law: "The law prohibits direct funding of operating costs by emissions."
