OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2010. As it was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, the production of wine in the given period amounted to 6,9% of total volume of industrial production.

The production of distilled alcoholic beverages in January-September 2010 in monetary terms increased by 15,3%, totaling to 335,4 million lei (USD 28,6 million) or 2,7% of total volume of industrial production.

In 2009 as compared to 2008 the overall production of wine in Moldova reduced in monetary terms by 21,2% - up to 1 billion 613,6 million lei (USD 137,7 million at current NBM’s rate).
