Ukraine Will Send about 3 000 Students to Study Abroad
OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2010. In 2012, the Government will send about 3 thousand students to study abroad at state funds expenses. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov announced this at a meeting with the Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper, who is in Ukraine on an official visit.
"We decided to send next year 300 of our students to study in the best European and world universities at public funds expenses. After another year we will send 3000 students" - Mykola Azarov emphasized. He added that the Government previews the Education sector reform calculated for 10 years.
After implementation of this programme, the level of training of Ukrainian teachers and students will significantly increase and Ukraine will reach a new quality of training. According to the Government, Ukraine is interested in cooperation with Canada in the field of education.
