Aeroflot Increases Flight Frequency to Cyprus
OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2010. JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines is increasing the frequency of regular and charter flights from Moscow to Larnaca in the summer season of 2011, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.
The Russian Minister of Transport Igor Levitin had a meeting with Minister of Communications and Works Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis. A wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in transportation industry were discussed. Cooperation in civic aviation was of particular interest at the meeting. Based on the results of the negotiations the Russian Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Communications and Works signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
As a follow up on the agreements reached during the meeting of the Russian Minister of Transport Igor Levitin and the Minister of Communications and Works Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis it was decided to increase the flight frequency to Cyprus by JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines during the summer season. The charter flights booked by Russian and Cypriote tour operators will be served by a fleet of double-class wide-body IL-96-300 with 12 business class seats and 270 economy class seats.
