OREANDA-NEWS. October 27, 2010. According to the preliminary data for nine months of this year the amount of premium charged in favor of Ingosstrakh under the voluntary medical insurance is 3,780 mln rubles which is 12% more than the rate planned for this period. During the accounting period 6,270 voluntary medical insurance contracts have been entered into by the insurer (exclusive of 46,330 tick-borne encephalitis insurance special program contracts) The number of Ingosstrakh clients under the voluntary medical insurance programs reached 472,000 people. For the accounting period the insurer paid medical services for its clients for the total amount of 3,575 mln rubles.

For the three quarters of 2010 Ingosstrakh signed new contracts with 240 medical and preventive institutions of Russia. Currently the insurer is cooperating with 3,500 medical and preventive institutions in the territory of Russia.

For the first half of 2010 Ingosstrakh voluntary medical insurance loss ratio decreased from 111% to 94%.
