Belarusian Consumer Prices Increased 1.6% in September

Prices rose 6.8% in January-September 2010, compared with 7.9% in January-September 2009.
In annualized terms, that is, September on September, consumer prices rose 9%, which compares to 11.7% in the period September 2008 through September 2009.
Food prices rose 2.2% in September 2010 and 7.6% in January-September 2010, non-food prices went up 0.8% and 6.2%, and consumer services prices increased 1.4% and 5.5%.
In 2009, inflation accelerated 10.1%. The forecast for 2010 stands at 9%-10%.
