OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2010. Max Alier, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative in Ukraine, issued the following statement in Kyiv:

"An IMF mission headed by Mr. Thanos Arvanitis will visit Ukraine on November 3-15 to conduct the discussions on the first review under the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA)".

The SBA was approved on July 29, 2010 for SDR 10 billion (about USD 15.8 billion) in support of the authorities’ economic adjustment and reform program (see Press Release No. 10/305).
