OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2010. 50 most expensive Moldavian brands have been determined within the project "MDBrand-2010. TOP-50 Moldovan Brands", carried out by the MPP Consulting (Ukraine) and Incredocon (Moldova) agencies, entering the rating association FutureEurope.

The project identified the current market value of the most expensive Moldavian brands, basing on the activity of the companies-owners of the brands, their positions on the market and prospects for development both the companies and the brands.

The rating "MDBrand-2010. TOP-50 Moldovan Brands" covers only the brands, created in Moldova or for the Moldavian goods (services), irrespective of their further repute within the country or on the world markets.

The geographical belonging of the brands to Moldova was the main criteria for selection.

The calculation methods of the brand cost are based on the assessment of activity of the companies, using the brand, and take into account a number of factors, reflecting the market conditions, possible treats and prospects for development of the brand and the corresponding sectors at most.

The brand’s value includes a cost of a trade mark (name) without the productive capacities, company’s infrastructure, patents, inventions and other material and intellectual values.

The most expensive Moldova’s brand – Cricova ("Cricova" SA) – was estimated at USD12 million.

The brand Bucuria takes the 2nd place - USD9 million, followed by:
