OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2010. The IBC office hosted a meeting with Linda Nemec, Director of the USAID I Private Sector Alliances Project. IBC Senior Lawyer Gulnara Akhmatova acquainted Ms. Nemec with the IBC activities, its goals and objectives, as well as areas of participation in the USAID projects implemented in Kyrgyzstan, reported the press-centre of IBC.

USAID officials were interested in the major business challenges in the country, which in the opinion business, hinder its successful development.

The meeting discussed possible areas for further collaboration, in particular in protection of private property rights and improving the mining legislation.
