OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2010. This year PASHABank is to participate for the first time in finance exhibition SIBOS to be hosted in Amsterdam on 25-29 October 2010.

According to the Bank, the event organized since 1978 in different countries of the world is one of the most important ones for the global financial community.

"PASHABank is the first out of Azerbaijani banks participating in SIBOS as an exhibitor," it was reported.

The exhibition whose organizer is Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication Community known as SWIFT involves influential world financial organizations, which define together new strategies and make collective decisions forming the future of the financial sector.

In the exhibition PASHABank will be presented at the highest level.

In this regard, PASHABank’s chairman of board Farid Akhundov said: "This event, in which we are going to participate for the first time, has great influence among the world’s financial community. Our bank’s participation in it will be widely covered in the press and financial publications in England, Switzerland and Germany. The main objective of our participation in SIBOS is to position PASHABank, one of Azerbaijan’s key commercial banks, as a new strong partner, acquaint much closer the world banking community with our Bank’s mandate and mission, and expand its network of correspondent relationships."

At the exhibition the Bank’s chairman of board will deliver speech with comprehensive presentation on investment opportunities in Azerbaijan.
