Dmitry Medvedev Made Working Visit to Turkmenistan
OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2010. The first conversation between Dmitry Medvedev and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took place at the Turkmenbashi airport.
During the conversation, Dmitry Medvedev noted that regular meetings are always a good opportunity to exchange views on expanding friendly relations between Russia and Turkmenistan and address regional problems.
The President of Russia is accompanied on his working visit by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Presidential Aide Sergei Prikhodko, and Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin.

You always say that each time our meetings and contacts generate something new – new ideas that are implemented to the benefit of our states and our peoples. So we are happy to see you here in Turkmenistan today.
I must note that our countries have always had very good relations. Your visit will certainly provide even more momentum to the development of our relations.
