OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2010. In January — September 2010 JSC Freight One increased its haulage of aluminium from the Krasnoyarsk and Sayanogorsk aluminium plants by 16.7% against the same period of the last year.

Over the first nine months of 2010 JSC Freight One transported a total of more than 530 thousand tonnes of aluminium from these enterprises to ports in the North-West, Far East and Azov — Black Sea regions.

Positive dynamics were also seen in regional deliveries of nepheline ore (which is processed into aluminous raw material-a vital component in the production of aluminium).

In Q3’2010 total haulage of nepheline ore from the Kia-Shaltyrsk mine (Kemerovo Region) to the Achinsk aluminium refinery (Krasnoyarsk Territory) in Freight One railcars grew by 10.1% against the same period of the last year to 647 thousand tonnes.
