KAMAZ Calls Indian Dealers
OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2010. On Saturday, October 23, the dealers of KAMAZ VECTRA MOTORS LIMITED Russian-Indian Joint Venture (KVML) will attend a conference in the city of Bangalore, India.
The representatives of 12 Indian dealers from 12 states of the country will gather at the conference. The representatives of KAMAZ and suppliers of KVML, companies which finance Indian customers purchasing locally produced KAMAZ vehicles will also participate in the event.
The participants will hear a preliminary report on the performance of KAMAZ VECTRA MOTORS LIMITED for a period from February 2010 and plan a course of the further cooperation at the conference. Ashot Arutyunyan, Director of Marketing and Advertising of OJSC KAMAZ, will bring a presentation of KAMAZ and its products to the Indian colleagues’ attention. The top managers of KVML plan to award the dealers who had distinguished themselves during the latest months in two nominations – “The Company’s First Dealer” and “The Most Dynamically Developing Dealer Company in India”. The second award is likely to go to a dealer from the state of Maharashtra where KAMAZ vehicles are much in demand.
KAMAZ VECTRA MOTORS LIMITED Joint Venture officially launched KAMAZ vehicles production in the city of Hosur on the premises of India’s Vectra Group in February 2010. To date, the joint venture with full capacity of up to 5 thousand vehicles a year produces KAMAZ-6540 right-hand drive vehicles. In the near future, it is planned to master production of KAMAZ-5460 long-haul tractors.
In close cooperation with Vectra Group, KAMAZ has entered dynamically developing segments of India’s auto market where neither local producers nor European and Asian companies can offer affordable and, at the same time, high-quality products for the time being.
