Among the members of the delegation are Mr. Georgi Mintchev, Vice President of BRCC, Kirill Maznev, head of the Commerce Centre of the Republic of Bulgaria in Moscow and M.K. Madzharov, director of BRK Cosmetics Company, the main distributor of national cosmetics in Russia.

Today the two sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral relations of Russia and Bulgaria and signed an agreement on cooperation between the Bulgarian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and the Vologda Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In addition to the main business events the numerous accompanying events are also a vital part of the visit. On a visit to Vologda the Bulgarian delegation is also to attend the Vologda Plant of Building Units and Road Machines and an interregional exhibition "My Own House" that opened in Vologda today.

At present, cooperation between the Vologda Oblast and Bulgaria is rapidly developing. Bulgarian businessmen participate in the Russian Wood, an international exhibition for production of technological equipment for forestry and manufacture of wood and wood-working articles (Vologda), Russian Flax, an international exhibition for innovation technologies to be applied in the linen industry and manufacture of flax fibre and flaxen goods (Vologda), and Gates to the North, an exhibition for the tourism industry (Vologda).

Since 2001 the commodity turnover between the Vologda Oblast and Bulgaria increased by 5.5x. Vologda's exports are made up of ferrous metals, optics, wood and wood-working articles. Bulgaria imports machinery, nonwoven fabric and equipment.
