MEGABANK Improves Credit Conditions for Small-Business
OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2010. "MEGABANK, PJSC" improved credit conditions for small-business clients by reducing rates on loans in national currency by 4%. This was reported by the Head of microcredit Department of the bank Oleg Gaber. He also noted that "MEGABANK" continues to grant loans in foreign currency. A credit is given for an amount equivalent to UAH 2 mln. up to 5 years, reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.
According to Mr. Haber, the main credit products are "Microcredit", "Business Auto", "Business Estate," "Mikroagrokredit". The Head of Department pointed out that anyone business entity that meets the criteria of the solvency of the bank and having a working business can get a loan. Mr. Gaber noted that the procedure for lending to small businesses in "MEGABANK" differs from the loan scheme provided for corporate clients. It allows entrepreneurs and small businesses to obtain credit under a simplified scheme, because "MEGABANK" devotes considerable attention to those business groups that normally do not receive adequate attention of banking institutions, namely private entrepreneurs engaged in retail sales in urban markets, small manufacturing, small firms working in the service sector. "We help in providing additional opportunities for growth and development of micro and small enterprises through financial investments in the modernization of equipment and working capital", - said Oleg Gaber.
Reference. "MEGABANK, PJSC" began its work microcredit program of small and medium-sized businesses in October 2007. At present the micro-credit programs are in the 9 Departments of the bank.
