OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2010. In the nearest future cement output of CJSC Ulyanovskcement operating as part of EUROCEMENT Group is expected to reach one million tons.

During the January to August period CJSC Ulianovskcement produced 843 thousand tons of cement. The plant is planning produce 160 thousand tons by the end of September. Thus during the nine months the plant is set on achieving production in excess of the one million ton target and improving its general production performance compared to 2009 (the previous year’s cement output totaled 911 thousand tons).

In addition to ever increasing domestic dispatches as CJSC Ulyanovskcement currently supplies cement to the major construction projects in Russia, including the Universiada 2013 in Kazan and the construction projects of a steel mill in Vyksa in the Nizhny Novgorod Region and a TANEKO oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan. The plant exploits the success of the exports program. So since the year start operating under the contract with Vostok-ESS the Company has shipped over 30 thousand tons of high-grade cement to Azerbaijan and over 50 thousand tons of clinker (semi-finished product for cement manufacturing) to Ukraine.
