OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2010. In the context of the partnership agreement signed between the Group and the Belgorod State Technological University the parties are involved in extensive work, including professional and upgrade training projects underway for the Group’s employees at BSTU University, training program preparation and Group’s financial sponsorship support to the University.

The fact that the Group opened its exposition at BSTU immediately after the State Council meeting on educational issues was recognized by Professor Evgeniy EVTUSHENKO, Vice Chancellor for Research, as a symbolic move towards a strategic alliance between science, production and business.

“The exposition goes to show that EUROCEMENT Group is open for future-generation young professionals and demonstrates its commitment to inviting BSTU students and graduates to joint work with the Group which is the 8th largest cement company in the world”, said Elena Rudovskaya, EUROCEMENT Group PR Manager.

“The cement plant and the University are tied up by their long-term cooperation”, stressed Vitaliy Novikov, Deputy General Manager, Belgorodskiy Cement’s Chief Operations Director, “the plant serves as basic training grounds for students and a research facility for the University’s scientists”.  

The collaboration between CJSC EUROCEMENT Group and Shukhov BSTU built around advancement of national science, strengthening of technical and scientific potential in the Russian cement industry, enhancement of its competitiveness, will also continue in the following academic year.
