OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2010. Ukrnafta, the largest oil mining company in Ukraine, have got a permission of Kyiv economic court to supply 140.5 Mmcm of its natural gas to industrial customers, news agency UaNews announced Oct 20.

Millennium Capital considers the news as positive for UNAF. Millennium Capital believes the second favorable court ruling should enable Ukrnafta to start supplying its gas at higher tariffs. As previously reported, on Sep 20, The supreme economic court allowed Ukrnafta to sell 1.1 Bcm of its natural gas to industrial consumers at unregulated tariff while previously it was obliged to sell natural gas to Naftogaz under low regulated tariffs. In Sep 2010 Uknafta filed an application to Ukrtranshaz for taking off gas intending to supply 140.5 Mmcm to fertilizer producers (DniproAzot and Cherkasy Azot) in Oct 2010. However the request was denied and that induced UNAF again to advocate its right in the court. The second positive court decision increases chances of Ukrnafta to get its gas and supply it to industry consumers.
