Bank of Moscow Launched Updated Version of Its Web-Banking Systems
OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2010. While the Kremlin Cup Tournament, the Bank of Moscow announced the launch of an updated version of its Web-banking systems and summed the results of the children’s competition "I Draw Tennis" held in collaboration with the "Kind Heart" Charity Foundation
A press conference of the Bank of Moscow was held at the Kremlin Cup Press Centre, devoted to the Bank’s contribution within the scope of holding of the Kremlin Cup-2010 XXI International Tennis Tournament. The participants in the press conference were Alexey Sytnikov, Vice-President of the Bank of Moscow; Shamil Tarpishchev, President of the Russian Tennis Federation; Alexey Selivanenko, Director of the Women’s Tournament; Tatyana Korsakova, Founder of the "Kind Heart" Charitable Foundation; as well as the well-known Russian tennis players Igor Kunitsyn and Anna Chakvetadze.
During the press conference, the Bank of Moscow announced the launch of a new version of its Web-banking remote client services system. During the period of the Kremlin Cup, the Bank of Moscow offers visitors to the tournament the chance to take advantage of a special proposal and sigh up for the updated Web-banking system.
By the Web-banking system, the client may, from anywhere in the world where a computer with Internet access is available, perform the following operations on-line:
• find out the status of accounts, deposits, cards and credits;
• pay for mobile communications, utilities, Internet and other services;
• open deposits;
• set up templates for most frequently use operations and a time schedule of regular payments;
• transfer money between accounts and to those of third parties.
The Web-banking system provides a high level of security.The services are accessed via a secure link. Entry into the system is confirmed by a log-in and a password, as well as a one-time code. An SMS is sent to the user’s mobile regarding any access attempt. Operations are confirmed by one-time SMS-codes and major operations by an electronic digital signature (EDS).
The new Web-banking system is provided to clients of the Bank of Moscow free of charge and without a subscription fee.
"Not by chance have we timed the launch of the new service opportunities for our clients to coincide with one of the main events of the year — the Kremlin Cup", commented Alexey Sytnikov, Vice-President of the Bank of Moscow. "Today we combine a life of mobility, high achievement and banking technology. I am convinced that the updated Web-banking system will be very popular among our customers."
It is also a tradition for the Bank of Moscow to sum up the results of the children’s competition "I draw Tennis" when the Kremlin Cup is being held. In 2010, the competition was held in conjunction with the "Kind Heart" Charity Foundation, which submitted for the competition works by children from Russian boarding schools.
According to Tatyana Korsakova, Founder of the "Kind Heart" Charitable Foundation, "the Foundation is concerned not only with provision for the lives of children in children’s homes, but also provides assistance in resolving problems connected with the children’s physical condition. We consider it important to get the children involved in the life of society. The example of how other children engage in sports and thus reach professional heights is undoubtedly a motivating factor, so we take an active part in acquiring sports equipment for children’s homes."
Over 20 pupils of boarding schools received gifts and diplomas "For participation in the „I Draw Tennis“" children’s competition from the "Kind Heart" Charity Foundation and the Bank of Moscow. In addition, the children were given an opportunity to meet well-known sports personalities.
