OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2010. Ingosstrakh conducted a conference “Issues of clinical trial insurance in Russia”. More than 41 major world and Russian pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations took part in the event.

Svetlana Zavidova, the executive director of the Clinical Researches Organizations Association, addressed the participants of the event with an opening statement.

Dmitry Shishkin, head of the third-party liability insurance department of Ingosstrakh, made a report at the conference and noticed that entry into force of the new Federal Law “On circulation of medicines” evoked a lot of questions of all participants of the market and their troubles needed to be settled promptly. The most urgent are the issues of individual policies for each patient and necessity of patients’ personal information transfer from insurants to an insurer. Ingosstrakh managed to develop the insurance program which fully complies with the law and at the same time helps leveling practically all arising difficulties.
