OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2010. Ingosstrakh paid 3.8 mln rubles to the Agro-Invest-Kshen CJS, located in Sovetsky district, the Kursk region, to compensate the damage caused to mobile agricultural equipment.

Equipment – combine harvesters, tractors and loaders of Claas Lexion and John Deere trade marks – were insured against such risks as fire, lightning discharge, natural calamities and/or hazardous natural acts, malicious acts of third parties, emergency for the total amount of 41.4 mln rubles.

The insured event was  the fire caused by the short-circuit failure during the grain crop harvesting under the conditions of abnormally hot weather. In the result of that the combine harvester burnt-out. Ingosstrakh has settled the claim and paid the insurance indemnity to the company.

Ingosstrakh and Agro-Invest group, including and Agro-Invest-Kshen CJSC, have been cooperating since 2007. In 2010 as the result of the bid award Ingosstrakh signed more than 20 insurance agreements with this agricultural holding company in different regions of Russia.
