OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2010. In September, 2010 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 50 000 passengers, that is by 19% more in comparing with the similar period of 2009, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on direction Chisinau-Bucharest (+155%), Chisinau-Milano (+74%), Chisinau- Moscow (+23), Chisinau-Istanbul (+16%), Chisinau-Vienna (+11%) and Chisinau-Rome (+8%).

Over 1000 persons used the flights Air Moldova in September from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Kiev and Bucharest to Europe by stopping over in the Chisinau International Airport that becomes a transit airport. In January-September 2010 there were transported 7000 of this type of passengers.
