OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2010. The second forum of Kazakhstan commodity producers opened organized by Kazakhmys Group together with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Akimat of Karagandy region. The forum's purpose is to increase the share of local produce in Kazakhmys Group's purchases, but also a further extension of co-operation with local producers. The main goal of Kazakhmys's participation in the event which is part of "We choose Made in Kazakhstan" program is establishing mutually beneficial relations with local companies, reported the press-centre of KASE.

Amongst forum participants there are more than 600 representatives of local producers, business associations, central government bodies and regional executive bodies. Presentation of production and services within the forum can serve as a platform for negotiations and exchange with experience. The company's employees have demonstrated electronic tenders explaining registration procedure in the electronic system run by the Group. This year around 600 local producers were invited to Company's electronic procurement system.
