“We are facing problems with to the quality of roads and high costs of road construction in Russia. It is very important therefore to improve research and development efforts in this field and constantly work for development of innovative materials and technologies. High-quality polymer asphalt cements and new approaches to construction and operation of roads are used throughout the world,” said Eldar Verdiev, Head, Performance Unit Bitumen, TNK-BP.

Main consumers of TNK-BP’s bitumen products are road construction and capital construction companies. Bitumen is supplied to more than 30 regions of Russia through a network of official distributors.
