OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2010. State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and the All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises OPORA ROSSII signed an Agreement on Cooperation.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev, on behalf of OPORA ROSSII - by its President Sergei Borisov.

The Agreement aims to promote interaction between the parties in establishing cooperation between Russian small and medium-sized companies with foreign companies involved in providing support for small and medium-sized enterprises in the following lines of activity:
transferring foreign technologies and innovations in the interests of Russian small and medium-sized enterprises;
developing mechanisms for entering into capitals of Russian and foreign small and medium-sized enterprises undertaking innovative activities;
studying demand and needs for supplies of foreign equipment for small and medium-sized enterprises.

This Agreement’s implementation would help to identify through OPORA ROSSII’s extended network (more than 80 branches on the Russian territory and abroad) SME’s projects that can be financed under agreements between Vnesheconombank and international and foreign development institutions as well as foreign banks in the field of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

Thus Vnesheconombank and its subsidiary bank, the Russian Development Bank (OJSC) are getting down to implementing agreements on cooperation in providing support for small and medium-sized enterprises with the German KfW Group, Swiss Bank Zurcher Kantonalbank and Italy’s Intesa Sanpaolo Banking Consortium.
