OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2010. Kredit-Standard open joint-stock commercial bank reported the results of its activity for nine months of 2010.

From the beginning of 2010 the bank's assets grew by 26.8 billion soums (+10%) and made up 273.4 billion soums on the results of the reporting period. The growth of deposits made up 19.2% and comprised 141.1 billion soums as of 1 October 2010. The net profit made up 6.7 billion soums.

Within the framework of credit activity in the III quarter 2010 the bank implemented large lease project jointly with Uzaeronavigatsiya center of O'zbekiston Havo Yullari national air carrier to purchase air navigation equipment to navigate air transportation on the territory of Uzbekistan.

Additionally, the bank extended credits to Toshkent Yog-moi Kombinati and Kattakurgan Yog-moi. Totally, the client base of the bank's corporate clients grew by 16%.

Moreover, the bank emitted 15,733 soum plastic cards, 100 VISA currency cards (+72%) and made 141 agreements on salary project with companies, installed 96 terminals within the framework of the development of program of cashless payments.

In the third Quarter 2010 Kredit-Standart bank launched the introduction of mobile user-friendly terminals in cafes, restaurants, public transport and taxi. The total number of transactions with plastic cards made up 3.29 million for the nine months of 2010.

The activity of Kredit-Standart bank was higly assessed by international organizations. Thus, Kredit-Standart bank was awarded the title "The best bank of Uzbekistan-2010" by Euromoney magazine (UK). The title is based on the rating by Moody's Investors Service and on the result of the survey of national and foreign partners of the magazine.

To be noted, Moody's Investors Service approved the bank's rating at the level of B2/NP/B2/NP/E+ with the forecast "stable" in September 2010.

Kredit-Standart bank was established on 16 August 2003 with the charter fund of 1.3 billion soums. The bank's headquarters are located in Tashkent. Kredit-Standart bank is listed among average-sized banks of Uzbekistan.
