OREANDA-NEWS. October 13, 2010. The Board of Directors of the seller has formally approved RusForest AB's acquisition of 86% of LDK-3 and 100% of Infa, a sawmilling operation located in the city of Arkhangelsk, in North West Russia, and a planing mill located on the same site, RusForest said in a statement received by Lesprom Network.

RusForest will now start the process for Russian anti-monopoly approval of the acquisition, which is expected to be attained before the end of the year.

RusForest is the only listed Russian forestry and sawmilling company, with operations based in Eastern Siberia and long term leases covering over 850 thousand hectares of forest land.
