OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2010.  A recommendation for Azerbaijan’s accession to transport corridor Viking has been sounded at today’s meeting of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine Intergovernmental Commission.

Musa Panakhov, Azerbaijani deputy transport minister, has claimed that the country is interested in accession to this transport corridor, as it is trying to diversify its transport flows.

"Appropriate measures for acceding to the project will be considered," Panakhov said.
